STEM workshops are here for advanced learners at the Collaboration Station! These workshops are designed for 5th-8th grade students.
Workshops are Tuesdays from 11 am to 12:45 pm. The activity runs from 11 am to 12:15 pm. Students can bring a sack lunch to stay for social time and lunch from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m.
Ticket sales close 24 hours before class time. Class size is limited to 12 students.
Classes will proceed based on the Circular STEM program created by Erin to teach sustainable engineering design techniques.This means that we will build in ways that do not create waste, that use biomimicry in engineering, and that regenerate natural systems.

Erin Rockenhaus has taught science and STEM in the classroom for over a decade and developed a school-wide STEM program in Anderson, SC before starting Circular STEM. She has a BS in Education and Masters in Biology from Clemson. She was Conservation Educator of the Year in Anderson County in 2022 and has won grants for STEM education excellence.
